COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jde o jeden z mnoha světových pivních stylů. Svrchně kvašené pivo poprvé navařené v Anglii v 19. století. Tehdejší sládkové hledali pivo, které by vydrželo několikaměsíční plavbu do jejich tehdejších kolonií, především pak do Indie. Byly známé konzervační účinky chmele a alkoholu a proto se tehdy standardně vyráběné pivo Ale (čtěte ejl) tomuto požadavku uzpůsobilo a vznikla nová pivní kategorie. Námi předkládaný India Pale Ale, neboli zkráceně IPA.

Bottle 0,50L. Clear, copper colour with small, frothy, white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits like peach, pineapple, orange also caramel and liquor. Taste starts light bitter and fruity, while the finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad at all, but I could easyly mark it as English bitter....

Recenzja z 27.01.2014. Kolor bursztynowy, klarowne. Piana srednia, powoli opada, zostawia gruba warstwe i troche oblepia szklo. W zapachu owocowe estry, karmel, landrynki, dosc mocny karton, aromat chmielowy trawiasty, slodkie owoce, lekko zywiczny. W smaku polpelne, niezbyt slodkie, gladkie, lekko kwaskowate, karmelowe i landrynkowe. Goryczka niska w kierunku sredniej, aromat zywiczny i slodkich owocow. Wysycenie srednie.

Bottle from the Beergeek in Prague. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is nettle resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt light hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It says IPA on the label but I think the brewer mislaid the hop bucket!

50cl bottle shared with and courtesy of JMGreenUK. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Very little bitterness. Not an IPA IMO
