Sep 14, 2008 (bottle) black, ruby-tinged colour, fine tanned head. aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, cherries, light floral hops. flavour has wonderfully smooth roasted malts and chocolate, light coffee, dark fruits and light floral hops. smooth carbonation, light to medium sweet body, a little watery.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/26/08) Bottle on the train from Beroun to Plzen (thanks oh6gdx!). Very dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of toasted/roasted malt, light grains and notes of coffee. Sweetish flavor, quite malty, with a bit of caramel and some coffee. Medium-bodied. Finishes slightly drier with faint roastiness. Medium-body.
