Bottled.
Amber colour. Citric and Swedensnus in aroma. Top fermented-feel a la US micro amber ale meets Belgian style with citric hops. Hard to describe. Sweet and hoppy. Also bitter. Flavour lasts long.

Enjoyed this delicious beer on tap at Zlý Časy. It had a clear, dark gold/amber color with a big creamy off-white head with great cling and superior retention. The aroma was floral and fruity, with some raisins and earthy hops. It had a sweet taste with some raisin flavor and a bit of a wheat/hops component too with slight bitterness. The body was very smooth and creamy, fairly wet, and had low carbonation; a very swishable, full mouthfeel. Excellent beer on tap.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 29 July 2011) Golden amber colour with lasting, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange peel, toast and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with toast, orange peel, bread, a lingering malt sweetness and slightly spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, with some sweetness. Solid and tasty. Nice one.

Draught @ Zly Casy. Darker golde than average, this strong lager wore a small white frothy head. This was by far my favourite lager above 14 Plato. In fact, this was pretty much the only one I really enjoyed, but the extent to which I enjoyed it was a fine surprise. Intensely malty it is. Almost caramelly and strongly bready, feeling just like a concentrated pils, but with no alcoho disturbance. Full-bodied and enormously bready all-throughout. Fresh, cerealic maltiness with a fair amount of toastiness quickly gets tamed by efficient spicy, herbal hops. Gets a bit more warming in the finish, moderately sweet, but hopped enough to bear it. An excellent offering that manages to follow the delicate balance between too sweet/alcoholic and lack of originality.

Bottle @ Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Pours clear copper with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is bread and straw and a little alcohol. Flavor is fruit, caramel and straw. Medium bodied. Some alcohol and warmth in the finish. Seems strong and unrefined.
