Chlumecký Pale Ale je charakteristický příjemnou hořkostí, chutí a vůní po medu, květech, rozinkách a ovoci. Ke kvašení se používá speciální kmen svrchních kvasnic "California ale". Vyrábí se příležitostně. 11.5P

On tap, smaltovna. Dark clear amber body with medium white head. Aroma has a light yeasty touch, very light fruit character, soft. Taste has medium sweetness with light fruity background, high earthy bitterness, little bit off balance towards the bitterness. Body is full, high carbonation.

Tap @ Pivohalle. Nearly clear, orange color, long-life small sized off-white head, slight citric hoppy aroma, light body, low carbonation, slight sweet toffee and malty taste, light fruity and bitter hoppy palate. Nothing special, but smooth one.

Tap(@Zlý Časy, Praha):Deep golden, unclear, small white stable "english" head, shy aromatic lemony hops in the mild bitter-grainy nose, some subdued fruitiness still detectable; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied without being watery; sweet grainy and lemony bitter finish. O.K., bjt not completely convincing…

draught as Melantrich Pale Ale at Restaurace v Melantrichu Praha. Golden colour, mid-sized head. Malty with a very fruity character and lots of good hops, slightly citrusy with hints of ananas.

Lively yellow colour, minimal white head. Fragrances of malts, hops and -unfortunately- I can sense some chemicals. Taste is a bit watery, bread-like with malts and hops. This beer lacks character in my opinion.

Tap @ Kulovy Blesk, Prague. Pours clear golden with a white head. Nose is hoppy and malty. Quite fresh. Flavor is corn and caramel. Fruity acidic. A little metal.

Clear golden with a small white head. Weak malty aroma with a fruity touch. Sweetish caramel flavour with the same weak fruity notes. Not unlike something like Old Speckled Hen. Pretty plain and boring.
