Draught at the Vltava, Helsinki, Finland as Vltava House Brand Pšenicné pivo (by Vysoky Chlumec). Hazy orangey golden colour with a small white head. Banana, mild spices, caramel sweetness, wheat, yeast and some more fruitiness in the aroma. The flavour is wheat, yeast, caramel and banana sweetness and some mild citrus tartness. Quite tasty. Went down very nicely with greasy Czech food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at U Bohouse. Pours cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Nice banana notes. Some sweetness. Decent hefe. Doen’t suffer from the uncommonly low ABV either.

Draught beer in a bar at Prague. Pours hazy bronze with a thick and frothy head. Typical aroma for a hefeweizen: wheaty with a little yeasty spiciness and notes of citrus and banana. Taste is crisp and refreshing; light sweet, very wheaty and nicely full of banana and some citrus. Lightly sour finish. Very soft mouthfeel, light to medium bodied. Overall, a good Czech version of a German hefeweizen.
