GAManiac (200), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle courtesy of alldaydrinker. Pours a dark, dark brown with a short lived tan head that leaves a slight swirl around the top and decent lacing along the sides. The smell is big on sweet roasted/burnt malts and coffee along with a hint of vanilla and cocoa. The taste is more burnt version of the taste with burnt malt and coffee taste dominating all the way through the finish. Also a little molasses and vanilla in there as well. The mouthfeel is just a tad thin with good carbonation. This is a decent porter though the mouthfeel is a little thin for me and the taste is more burnt than I prefer. blipp (578), Grand Island, New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours very deep ruby with a sticky beige head. Caramel aroma, light roast and some fruit. Medium body. Flavor is roaste dmalt, caramel and coffee. Finishes with a light hop bitterness. Pretty good. IrishBoy (2043), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 24, 2008 12 oz bottle from alldaydrinker; Nose of chocolate, roasted nuts, with a lightly hoppy accent; Dark transparent brown with a medium cinnamon, lightly lacing head; flavor is light hop bitterness, chocolate, and a little pepperiness; finish is lightly bitter. Pretty good little porter! georgekappus (296), Brookfield, Connecticut, USA Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brownish amber with a half inch caramel colored head. Aroma of chocolate, sugar, and caramel. Tasted chocolate with roasted malt. Palate was thin and refreshing but a little too thin for a porter. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 16, 2008 Nice, thick beer porter that pours a black opaque colour. Fairly large brown head with a moderately nutty aroma. Mouthfeel is full, well carbonated, but light creamy texture.
