3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper with a good two-finger head that shrinks to a full cover, dots and streaks of lace. Sweet malt opens things; carbonation joins in as it moves through the palate, allowing just enough hop bittering to balance things at the finish. Very unassuming, but a solid choice for food and for a long night’s session. Very easy to drink. Recommended.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From tasting at the Brewery in Westminster. Wry light pale, some mild indistinct hops. Dry malts. good old style but really boring example of it.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sourish aroma of fresh wort and weak, possibly not so fresh hops. Almost clear copper under a thin, lacy, white flannel blanket. Sourness also in flavour, that is significantly oxidized/cardboardy and with a metallic feel. Perhaps this beer wasn’t stored properly. Medium body, medium carbonation, sour, cardboardy finish.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tap pours mostly clear deep golden yellow with white around the rim. The aroma is light and sweet of pale malt. The taste is bittersweet pale grains with a tiny touch of hop dryness. There is a simple sweet grainy flavor but it is not really very tasty, it is however more full bodied than most blond ales which makes it more palatable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Darker than golden amber, adequate white head with ample lacing. Nose of cracker, flowers, citrus, and chalk. Taste has all of the above with a slight skunk character. Body is light to medium and leaves questioning my recent trip to Albany all together.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a deep golden color with a decent white head that recedes quickly but leaves a fair amount of lace on the way down. Smells earthy and bit minerally with a fair amount of sugary malt sweetness and light floral hops beneath it. The flavor is sweet with an odd buttery tartness to it. Light toffee and butterscotch flavor with a mineral aspect to it. Little hop flavor and barely enough bitterness to keep this from cloying. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet sugary bubbly mouthfeel. I picked this up on a whim to fill my mix a six. This is quite sweet and lacks any balance, I’m glad I only have one.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hearty aroma of caramel dough and citrus. Orange color of the pale ale variety. Flavor is average sweetness, I’d have said 20 BUs. Has the basic flavor and character of a heavier English ale, ie not a bitter. Too sweet and heavy to be termed a blond ale.

Tap at Strange Brew in Manchester. Light gold pour with a white head. Bready and doughy, with just a hint of earthiness. Okay.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap. The color is bronze amber with a decent silky head and good clarity. Toasted pale malts lead off the aroma along with sweet caramel and low hop bitterness. The body is medium. The taste is sweet to begin with a light bitterness at the end that was not as expected given the aroma. But I found it to be a great pale ale.

12oz Bottle. Thanks Liz! Aroma was a soft salty grain. Flavors were rather week and a little mangy, as though this had probably sat on the shelf somewhere for a little while. Certainly drinkable, but the brewing performance isn’t there and this come across as a little dated and lackluster.
