From the bottle. Pours light copper color with thin white head. Weak aroma of earth, grass and a bit of orange. Initial taste is thin with some malt sweetness quickly moving to bitterness and lingers with aftertaste.

Bottle at home, picked up on RA Boston trip. Aroma is candied orange zest and a bit of anise. Flavor is orange, resinous hops, sweet malt underneath. Crisp finish with a short lived bitterness. Clean.

I had this at The Green Dragon. Pours dark gold with a white head. Taste pine, Carmel, a bit bitter. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle. Mild aroma of hops. Mild bitter taste. Pours cloudy amber. Light body. Goes down easy, but a bit grassy.

Pours a hazy honey amber with a fairly thick buff head. Aroma is hoppy and malty, not strong but inviting. Flavor is quite hoppy, bitter greenwood, with malty and subtle citrus notes. Texture is rather fizzy and fairly firm. Lay out some green for this Monsta, and go Red Sox!

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange to brown color with a decent looking one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The lacing was somewhat an odd mess of sorts and mainly slides into the body. The smell had some bitter citrus to piney hops that allowed some light malts to enter in after a bit of warming. The taste was mainly malty sweet as it seemed to have let the hops fade into the background. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sharpness pounding my tongue into submission. Overall, this was a worthy IPA of having again.

Pours a dark orange. Smells exactly as an IPA should and has a very balanced and hoppy taste which most fans of ipa's will enjoy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is an average beer with a kick of hops. I would pick it up again during the summer months, but itís nothing too unique that will have me seeking it out.

Draft. Pours orange with a thin white head. Nose is some grass and citrus. Taste is some kind of lime?

Draft at The Grill Next Door. Light amber or copper in color with soapy head, no lace. While Iím talking about soap, it kind of has that aroma. Was this pint glass rinsed out properly? The answer is yes, it was rinsed out, that just the beer. <br
Grainy body with traces of yeast. Some light caramel hiding under a weak hop profile that is more like a sub par English pale ale. Thin watery body with a soapy texture. Itís drinkable but has some major flaws. I got friends who home brew IPAís much better than this. Drink if your feeling risky.

Draft at Logan airport in Boston, MA. Pint glass. Golden amber pour with a thick white head. Good sporadic lacing. Aroma of bread, cereal, pine and must. Taste similar with light notes of pine and cereal. Bitter finish. Medium balance job. About a B- in my book.
