(12oz bottle, best by January (06?)) Crystal clear light amber body topped by medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/floral, some grapefruit, caramel, light tea. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some caramel, light cereal/bread. Light/medium body, light resin, fairly drinkable. Medium bitterness, comes across more as an APA.

Bottle… Misty, light amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The nose is of black tea, butter and toffee. Moderate to heavy bitterness with notes of tea and clover honey. Medium-bodied and dry with fizzy carbonation. Finishes bone dry. Smells like an English IPA; tastes like an American IPA. Great, refreshing brew!

Poured from bottle while on vacation in CT. Nice golden color with a three finger yellow head and decent lacing. Not much nose, but not offensive. Slighltly heavier mouthfeel than one would expect for an IPA. A smooth caramely middle with a lightly hopped finish. Not overly bitter. I really liked this one, but it may be too sweet and not hoppy enough for tried and true IPAers.

Nice beer. Some sort of citrusy taste - I detected orange. My father-in-law said blueberry. Hops were there, but not overwhelming.

Pours amber brown with a small head. Nice lacing in the glass. Earthy hop taste and arome. This beer reminds me of a SNPA with more hops. Good malt as well. A truly underrated IPA.

Bottle: pours clear orange with a thick off white head. Aroma of hops-mildly done. Flavor is mostly hops with some orange flavor. Finish is bitter and slightly metallic. I should have let this get a little colder. Long lasting head and full glass lacing. Good.

Pours a yellowish amber in color. Starts out with a nice hoppy taste, but lacks that extra spike I’m used to in some of the better IPAs. Still definitely worth a try.

Color, a hazy, dark amber, with a sturdy white head above. Big, hoppy aroma, spikey, sprucey, fruity, aflood with associations of grapefruit, citrus and more. Dazzling, arousing, a joy to drink in the nose. Once on the tastebuds, a lovely hop-dance ensues, and while malt is not tasted, it’s presence is adequately felt in this nicely balanced beer. As we continue to drink, the hops lose prominence in the flavor. An IPA on the light side, with the flavor residing long on the plate, but playing a little too calm for my tastes. Could’ve been kicked up a notch, but if a mild-mannered IPA is for you, this is the one.

The Lure:
Golden orange transparency mirrors some apricot sweetness hugging decent grapefruity hops.

The Festivities:
Sufficient resinous and citrusy hops ride the tacky, airy carbonation. There is enough malt sweetness to blend with the hoppiness but all is typical and uneventful. A lack of inspiration can still render well-made products, but risks to fall into the soporific session category.

Transcendence:
A worn-out man sits on his bar stool, eyelids half-closed, loosely hanging on to his pint of IPA, looking at his reflection in the tainted mirror in front of him.

Light orange color, spare head. Orange nose, but light. Stale hops and orage taste.
