A medium golden colored brew with a good frothy head that goes to lacing. Classic Cascade floral-citrus aromas and flavors. Clean drinking. Well balanced. Not overly flashy, but very drinkable. Finishes with a mild sweetness and a lingering floral bitterness.

Wachusett sampler pack, enjoyed on a trip to the Boston area. My favorite of the four in the pack. Very good example of an IPA, with a mild floral aroma, slight touch of maltiness, and a beautiful hops finish. Literally reminded me of the biscuit I had with breakfast, without tasting yeasty. I would buy this again if I could find it in Ohio. I know nothing about Wachusett, but they seem to be doing things the right way, and are turning out a nice selection of quality brews.

Orangy with small head. Aroma citrus hops. Medium body without alcohol. Flavors mostly citrusy hops like would expect from aroma but there is some malt balance. Not too complex but tasty and a solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours a bright, clear golden orange color with a big white foamy head. Head recedes leaving a small island. Nose is sticky, resiny hops with a light biscuit and toasty malt note. Palate is lightly playful carbonation with a stickiness and a light film on the swallow. Flavor is resiny hops with some sticky residue notes, some biscuity malt notes and a light honey syrup.

Nice pour, lots of light foam, light golden brown color, taste is very good, they brew a good IPA here, stacks up pretty well to others I have had, nice hops, good malt presence as well, bitterness hits you in the end. I like it, I will buy it regularly based on the price....good brew.

citrussy, kinda one dimentional, not enough malt balance but the hops sure are a kick in the face, which we sometimes all need

12 ounce bottle received in a trade with Reagan1984 thanks! A-Golden orange with a 1 finger creamy white head with good retention and modest lacing. S- Sweet citrus and bready malt coupled with a mild floral hop in the nose T-Bread notes up front followed by floral hops and then a citrus zest wave that soon subsides. the hops are not aggressive in any way. this is definitely a traditional east coast usa ipa taste. Good thing for that citrus zest taste, without it this brew would be overpowered by sweet malt. M- Felt a bit thin probably due to a lack of carbonation and really dried out my mouth. D- Very drinkable because of how much it dries your mouth out and the mellow nature of the hops. This is an easy IPA to session with. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-13-2008

Stale hop flavors, with what tastes and smells almost exactly like the hops used included in my beginner Homebrew Kit. Huge lacing.
