Pretty decently balanced IPA b/w the hops and malt. Has a slight citrus taste. Has a decent sized head on the pour and has an amber/honey color. Pretty good brew for Red Sox fans.

A hazed amber ale with a thick creamy dark off white head. Light hops and caramel aroma, light orange marmelade. In mouth, a decent grapefruit hop attack followed by biscuitty malt, a bit thin, but honest IPA. Bought this at CJs, Potsdam, 1.59$.

Bottle. Amber body, medium white head, weak nose with some citric hops and caramel. Not very hoppy; caramel body with some finishing bitterness but only a hint of light citrus.

12 oz bottle. Clear light amber in color. Aroma is citrus hops, pretty fresh and lightly resinous. Taste is a moderate amount of citrus and floral hops, with some sweet pale malts and light caramel. Bittering is mild for the style. a pretty decent easy drinking IPA.

Bottle -- Poured a surprisingly pale golden amber with a giant cratered foam head. The aroma is peppery right off the bat, but the beer drinks much more mellow than the olfactory glands might suggest. Yet this is a flavorful brew, full of spicy hoppiness, rich malt backdrop, and a light floral herb flourish to wrap it all up. This would be great with Asian ... sweet and sour, fried rice, or garlic chicken. Nice. (#3108, 9/23/2007)

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a thin but lacy white head. Lightly herbal and citrus aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Toasty malt taste with citrus behind it, but the finish is a bit grainly.

12 oz. bottle, marked freshness date along the left side of label, sampled in a pint glass. Poured a slightly hazy orangey amber, nice fluffy, creamy off-white head, good retention, minimal amount of laced sticking. Aroma of floral and orange rind-like hops with a light backing of sweet pale malts. Citric, orange juicy hops dominate the taste, just a slight toasted grain maltiness in the background. Towards the end a little sweet caramel comes out. In the dry finish the hops take on a lightly salted orange rind character, taste of chalk in the aftertaste. Medium bodied with slightly rough feel, not the smoothest IPA I’ve tried. Overall, I didn’t care for the balance in this IPA, the hops, for me, just aren’t tasty enough to overcome the mild maltiness.

THIS BEER HAD A NICE GOLDEN COLOR AND A MILD HEAD TO IT. THE SMELL WAS VERY INTENCE AND I COULD SMELL AS SOON AS THE GLASS WAS POURED. AS YOU DRINK IT YOU COULD TASTE THE MILD FRUITS MAINLY ORANGE AND STRONG HOPS. THIS IS A VERY REFRESHING BEER AND GOES DOWN SMOOTH AND GENTILE WITH A NICE AFTER TASTE.

Pours a clear, pale orange with a mostly lasting dense, white head that shows good retention as it dimples at the top as it disipates. The aroma is floral, with light grapefruit citrus. The flavour presents the resin quality of the hops, mostly in the finish, with coniferous notes throughout. The malty backbone is subdued, with hints of caramel. This one won’t please most serious hop heads, but it is still a nice, fresh tasting beer. The body is a little thin, but suitable for the flavours.

Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 28, 2007
Pours almost clear deep gold with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is mild citrus, some pine, floral hops and even some resin and sap. Crisp and clean flavor light on the malt modest hop usage- american c hops without getting grassy- stays piney and resinous, but overall the aroma and flavor are just a bit too subdued. Fresh, but needs more hops.
