Bottle(s) at Harbor Lounge in P-town. Amber orange pour. Flowery hop aroma. Fruity and floral hop flavors. Nice dry finish. Mildly bitter. Pretty typical East Coast IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2015 Not a big fan of this one. The aroma is a bit too malty and cereal. The flavor is focussed on Cascade but it’s a bit tame and seems to basically be the Light IPA with a larger body and ABV... which distracts from the hops.

Nice IPA, nice light scent, good golden color, not much aftertaste which was good. Overall a good version of an IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good IPA, rather surprising as so far my experience with Wachusett has been kind of *shrug*.

Can. Surprisingly robust aroma and flavor from a can. Strong hoppy IPA flavors, slightly bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Reviewed from notes. This one was poured into a pint glass every time. The appearance was a nice looking hazy yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipates at a nice pace and ends up leaving some nice slightly foamy lacing. The smell was completely floral but did allow a decent citrus back up. Don’t count on any sweet malts trying to show up, damn, this stuff is powerful. The taste was florally and citrusy sweet. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium and showed a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation had the right amount of sharpness for an AIPA. Overall, no complaints from me as this was a really nice AIPA well worthy of having again.

Tap at the Devens Grill, I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul. Well its a really really basic boring IPA, middle of the road nothing more. I could drink it if forced but not exciting

12oz bottle near Boston. Had a few at my cousin’s wedding. A nice east coast IPA but there is almost nothing distinctive about it. Perfectly servicable. Some C-hop aroma and a tart-bitter hop balance but it is still underperforming to the great IPAs that get all of the elements in balance. But not bad at all

Clear golden copper color with good head retention and hanging swirls of lace. The taste is what you’d expect: Sweet caramel malt opens assertively, but can’t keep the pine and floral hops from taking over midway through the palate. Remarkably, as strong as the hops are, the sweet continues to linger in the background. Excellent with food; on one hand, standard US IPA, on the other quite well conceived and balanced. Recommended.

From the 12. fl. oz. bottle. It is a nice looking amber-copper color along with some golden hues on the edge of the glass, decent clarity, and a full off-white head. Floral and earthy notes on the nose with a muted pale malt nip and a bit of sweetness. Light to medium body and maybe a tad creamy. There is a vague sweetness in the taste but there are also plenty of earthy hops playing around in the flavor too. Slightly lingering finish.
