3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scrapersnbeer (1020) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Sharp pine and bitter grapefruit. Hazed orange, minor lacy head. Strong, bluntly bitter, some semisweet malt, not exactly layered. Overall a smooth, thicker drinker, but with a phenolic kick at the finish. Not a precision tool amongst beer of this ilk.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 luttonm (1634) - Belgrade, SERBIA - MAY 16, 2013
From tasting at the Brewery in Westminster. Both the original recipe and from their Nugget dry-hopped cask. I prefer the original I think. Pale clear orange, soft alc body. Ok imp IPA. Alright hop palate but nothing special or refined. Just a big beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 blklab2007 (1639) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Bottle poured a dark orange amber color with a one finger white head. Aroma has resins, sweet malt, some citrus rind, and some wet herbs. Mouth feel is hefty with medium low carbonation. Flavor brings a fair bit of bitterness, wet stringy hops, citrus rind, and plenty of sweet malt. Really thick and crushing with too much bitterness for my taste.

Well done. Pours orange / yellow with a creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet malts and floral hops with a touch of honey. Taste is mostly sweet, with an alcohol burn finish, which is a bit hot.

22 oz Bomber. Big hoppy ipa with lots going on. Maybe a little too much.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Suttree (4498) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Trade from Phatdog1 - thanks! Hazy reddish orange, thin head. faint aroma of citrus, cinnamon, and some other spices. Flavor is woody hops, fairly sweet caramel, and Some fruity notes. BB 02/08/2013, drank on 02/24/2013, so the hops may have faded a bit. Still good, though.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 seth_lfod (124) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Poured from a 22oz bomber into a Lawson’s tulip. Opaque orange/amber in color with a small white head from a gentle pour. Smells of grapefruit, sweet malts, a bit of butterscotch, and slight orange peel. Taste is grapefruit up front followed by some resin and pine. Well balanced with a slight malt backbone. Alcohol is well hidden. This is an enjoyable local DIPA. Would buy again for $6.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Slipstream (1786) - USA - FEB 17, 2013
A fine, fluffy head atop a dark gold-tan pour. The aroma is rich and penetrating, with pine and floral notes. The taste is likewise full of hops, but it is a soft take on an imperial IPA - there are flavors of bee pollen, English-style hops, wildflowers, and a little yeast. Real good.
