COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LARRY was originally brewed this summer for the Publick House’s Hop Head Throwdown. David -- owner of the Publick House -- It was such a success in growlers here and at the Publick House, that we brewed another batch to go to speciality accounts. We’ll be putting it in 22’s in March 85 IBUs 5-hops (Simcoe, Magnum, Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook)

Thanks to whoever brought this to Proof Friday night tasting. Solid IPA. Light golden pour, soft bubbly white head. Hoppy citrus and spruce in the aroma. Juicy grapefruit bitterness, a solid malty backbone. Thick enough mouthfeel.

Bomber. Orange pour, with an off white head. Malty, caramel sweetness, and some hoppy bitterness. Not very good.

12oz can. Pours orange gold with an offwhite head that lingers. Lemon, pineapple, grapefruit on the nose. Sweet malt backbone followed by tropical fruit and pine hop. Finish is resinous hop bitter. 8.5% well hidden.

Gold, white head. Sweet malty up front, flat hop profile. I was expecting better from this.

Pours a bright orange with a 3 finger foamy head. Leaves lacing down the glass. A little bit of pine and citrus with a strong malt backbone. Starts off with some heavy caramel and a bit of citrus hop character. The sweetness stays throughout, but is overpowered near the end by a piney resin flavor. Mouthfeel and carbonation are low-medium. A tad bit creamy. Not terribly impressed by this one. Leans too much toward malt for the style.

I always fill at least one growler with Larry every saturday when I go to the brewery . Bitter like i likebut not over powering with a great aroma and smooth after taste. Much better on tap than a 22

Big bottle, shared by dudeabide. Mildly hazy amber orange color. Thin off-white head, nice lace. Citrusy, spicy hop nose, and caramel malt. Nice moderate bitter taste, not as sweet as expected. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter, sort of creamy carbonation. Dry finish. Good spicy, earthy, lightly citrusy hop flavor. Lighter on the malt in the flavor. Tasty, enjoyable DIPA. Good texture to it.

Bomber to sniffer (shared by dudeabide). Looks good; a semi-transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells MALTY with bitter hops as well. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Maybe old? Let’s hope so.

What an IPA is supposed to be! Clear medium amber with a generous long head, thick spider-webs of lace. Taste is clean caramel malt that grows through the palate, adding earth and a bit of molasses. Only after the swallow does the bittering take over, growing swiftly as it passes by, leaving a subdued bitter malt to linger with. Excellent brew, one of the best.
