Box of cans from Julioís. Pours out a light orange-amber color with very decent head and carbonation. Lighter body with a good hop spice and bitterness. - could be a tad bit more hoppy, but otherwise I am surprisingly impressed with this lighter option.

From can. Grass and resin aromas. Light and dry with grass and hat upfront turning to resin in the medium length finish.

This is the best "lightí beer on the planet as far as I know. I donít get the criticism, itís intentionally light... itís clearly written on the can. That being said, as a hop head focussed on DIPAs this is LIGHT! But I do enjoy it. The aroma is citrus and grapefruit, most likely Cascade. The bitterness level is passable, the body is light, the finish is clean and crisp. I often get this in their IPA variety pack and find it to be enjoyable. Not convinced, I travel to Tree House roughly twice a week... I know what I know ;)...

It is OK, not really that great, nice scent and a dark golden brown, taste is a bit light but it is a light IPA so that makes sense, a bit bland ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not much going on here, surprisingly light, I wouldnít call it an IPA because thereís only slightly more hoppiness than a pale lager. Kind of a dud if you ask me, which you arenít.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle that expires 4/17/15. Golden-bronze pour with a modest cream colored head that fades and leaves lacing. Floral, grassy notes mix with toasted bread in the aroma. Medium body. Surprisingly good floral hop character in the flavor too with a quick bitter bite to finish.

Draft at Dohertys. Clear golden color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma is soapy and floral taste is floral, herbal, lightly bitter.

Tap at Dohertyís East Avenue Pub. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is biscuit malt, citrus and pine hops. Flavor is moderate hops and medium bitterness with crisp malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Poured from 12 oz. can into a Willis Tower pint glass. The color is copper/gold with three fingers of foamy white head and some thin lacing left on the glass. The smell is a bright, fresh hop aroma with some hints of fresh cut grass. There is touches of cake frosting and some sweet break aroma. The taste has more malt than hops with a bready flavor that carries it along most of the way. Toward the end there is some slight bitterness plays its part giving some hints of earthy, grass like flavor. Hints of dandelion and flower pedals take the very back part of the flavor and give it some welcoming character to this beer. The feel of this beer is smooth with a silky texture and a real light body that is highly drinkable. It lays on the pallet like lace being drawn over your tongue and hardly leaves much a footprint there. A great session IPA that drinks well.

Surprisingly good nose for a sessionable IPA. Taste is so-so, but better than Founderís All Day. I have to say, itís not weak-bodied like so many in this category, and you really donít notice the low ABV all that much like you do with this type, usually. Not what Iíd buy a six pack of, but it came in the multi-pack of cans, and Iím OK with that.
