bruno1378 (108), Epping, New Hampshire, USA Oct 21, 2004 I sampled this at a beer tasting and bought a six pack based on the RateBeer rating. Great color with great aroma. This beer goes down very easy and is one of the most drinkable AND tasty Octobers I think I’ve had yet. Great ratings here but only from local folks - these people should get this beer out more! cfranz (261), Acton, Massachusetts, USA Sep 16, 2004 This is a really good octoberfest beer. Crisp with a very nice finish. Has a nice head. Hopped nicely as well. Davhgbrew (418), Boca Raton, Florida, USA Sep 9, 2002 Fantastic dark burgundy color, with a slowly dissapating lacey off white head. The aroma is of dark fruit(belgian beer-like.) The initial sip is of crisp sour plum. It finishes dry, acidic, and fruity with great length. Great brew! dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jan 19, 2004 Light copper with a small white head.Malty, spicey hop .Toasted/bready malts come to ther forefront, starts sweet, ends dry.A very good American made Octoberfest. Hopistotle420 (1177), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Sep 13, 2002 ruby copper amber hue. Very fruity spice aroma. Clean foamy white head, with nice lacing. Sour first, medium bodied, with raison, plum apple notes. Nice malty finish. A very nice brew, probably one of wachuseet’s best.
