We use traditional Oktoberfest specialty malts and hops to handcraft our interpretation of the style. Deep copper color with a predominant Euro-malty flavor and balanced bitterness.

Bottle. Cloudy amber color. Aroma was malty and wheaty. Flavor was richer with caramel and sugary malts. Substancial on palate. Overall not bad.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light copper with a slight, transient beige head. Mild caramel/roast aroma. Flavor starts toffee, moving to a bit bready, picking up some grassy? hop, and ending a little papery. Balanced, but rather bland.

this one is bad, "weaksauce" if you will, I’d rather drink a macro plain beer, many off flavors in this one

12 oz. bottle from Bert’s Better Beer. Mostly clear copper color. Lasting white head with decent retention. Caramel malt and I smell apples. Lightly sweet with a clean straight malt taste. Notes of nuts. Soft Co2 with a medium body. Ok, I like the Florida Beer Marzen a bit better. But is much better then Otter Creek Octoberfest. It reminders me of the Paulaner Marzen.

Subtle spicy apple flavor. Clear brownish color. Mild bitterness with a dry finish. Quite refreshing and drinkable. With every mouthful I’m enjoying it more and more.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours copper with a thick, lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of toasted malts with some cereal and nuts notes and nice floral hops to balance it out. Flavor about the same with a good balance of the ingredients. Average texture. A decent beer.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Wakefield Liquor - Wakefield, RI. What a snorefest, unfortunately. Bland, bland amber lager, without accenuating Munich or good malt character. Overly clean and expected. I want more crispness, more depth, more tradition. Forgettable, but clean.

Bottle in NYC with Chris. Pours orange-gold, clear, with a monstrous, white head. Bread and caramel on the nose, slight toast. Medium sweet flavor, caramelized sugar, slight dry leaves, some berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild bitter finish, some dryness, sugar and bread, caramel. OK, decent representation of the style.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy coppery orange with a small light tan head. Aromas of malty raisin and caramel. The flavor is sweet-ish apple, light caramel, and some notes that are reminiscent of Pete’s Wicked Rally Cap Ale, which I find to be somewhat repulsive. Meh. [671]
