Bottled. Tasted sort of like a weak saison more so than a wheat. Poured gold etc. Ok.

Clear golden with visibible carbonation and thin white head. No aroma. Very light, hint of lemon and grainy. Carbonation provides a bit of bite on the tongue.

The look is quite see-through, a bright sunny yellow. It does look like a regular macro pale lager, but much brighter. Head is short-lived. It looks like a brighter-than-normal wheat beer.
The smell is a slight wheaty aroma, but with almost a bitter malt to it as well. The smell is actually very slight. There is a slight twist of lemon, and some orange. Sweet, light, flowery.
Wheat taste comes in with a strong fruit (orange peel) flavor. Sharp wheat punch. The fruit is really merely an accent to the typical wheat taste.
Feels a bit dry, but also refreshing. The wheat comes through not only in the flavor, but also as a dry feel. Not ashy as I had worried. It’s not got a lot of character, but it’s quite drinkable. Sweet, summery, dry, wheaty.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Available through Mid-September? Well, I had it tonight at RnH. Hmm...Maybe if it were 5 to 6 months earlier I would have enjoyed this beer more. As it was, I enjoyed it a little it. Not an offensive beer by any means, just nothing to write home about. Not crisp and refreshing like I want a wheat ale. More like a pale ale. Perhaps it lost its bite before I could get to it...will this mystery ever be resolved?...

12 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow golden pour with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and lemongrass. Nice sweet taste with a thin mouthfeel. Not terrible but fairly simple with no depth or complexity.
