crazyvin (1057), New York, USA Jan 22, 2008 Labeled as "summer" Beer was from summer so it probably was a bit past its "consume by date." It poured a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma was of mild lemon and some wheat notes. Flavor was of watery lemon and some very mild wheat notes, no real hop presence. Finish was very smooth. Probably would have been better fresh, but still it’s not a full flavored brew. but seems to be a refreshing change on a uncomfortably hot summer day nuplastikk (381), Maryland, USA Sep 22, 2007 12oz bottle. Just labeled "Summer", guess they dropped the breeze. Pours cloudy and golden. Crisp with a very mellow, creamy aftertaste, it makes quite a summer session beer. Not much lemon presence, thankfully. Just enough to compliment the taste. Very pleasant mild hop notes. Good example of an American wheat. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA Jul 9, 2007 This was a light and easy to drink. Didn’t notice the lemon, but it tasted very light and refreshing. Dickinsonbeer (2480), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jun 28, 2007 Pretty good for an american wheat. Pours a slight haze golden with a thin white head. Aroma is crisp clean malts, ligth dough and bread, with some clean floral and light citurs hops. I like how the lemon is controlled and not overpowering. Good clean flavor with a mild crisp hop bitterness and light wheat malt backbone. Good to come home to on a hot day before you start drinking heavier beers. matthewpet (28), USA Dec 13, 2006 Appearance & Aroma of a mass produced domestic, with a slight hint of fruit. Thin for a wheat ale, very light mouthfeel and crisp finish. Most likely made to be a session beer.
