Produced in accordance with a strict recipe that uses New Zealand hops and Quince grown on the Waddesdon estate. The ale itself has a bitter quality which will please the purist, but it also displays a golden fresh ale feel, which gives it a contemporary edge. It is brewed at Marsh Gibbon, by Oxfordshire Ales.

Bottled. A clear ruby ale with a reasonably, mostly lasting, off-white head. Sweet fruit and malt aromas. Flavour is initially slightly sweet, with malt and dark red fruits. Quickly becomes drier, but still smooth and with a clean finish. Interesting.
