3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kwik-lime (864) - London, Greater London, - NOV 17, 2012Slightly acidic aroma. Flavour of herbs, citrus and a slight sourness with a dry finish. Certainly an interesting beer, though probably not one I’d fancy a session of.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 downender (5185) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2013
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Golden with a slight white head. Aroma of green herbs and honey. Flavour wise, there was more of the same, although the sweetness of the honey was too much for me. One of my least favourite beers in the JDW autumn festival.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Finn (3090) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
Crosse Keys, Bank 5 Nov 12. JDW festivaløl. Gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Bra krydderaroma. Ingefær. Smaken er tynn og har ingefærpreg. Litt tørr krydret ettersmak.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 wimpyjoe (1656) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2012

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rune (6120) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2012
Third-pint measure, festival ale, cask at Crosse Keys, City. Crystal clear, golden brown. No head. Floral fruity notes, half-dry. Dark honey and herbs added by tart berries and a touch of ginger. Crisp in the mouth. Different and quite possible to like (London, 05.11.2012).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maeib (7542) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Stick Or Twist Leeds 14/11/12. A blonde beer with a whitish head and lace. Sweet toffee and herbal lavender and heather notes. Delicate herbs but the sweetness is a shame. The Wadworth yeast hits you after a while as well. It’s a good mix of flacours which grew on me.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 AleTsar (1324) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 20, 2012
Cask @ JDW Muckle Cross, Elgin 201112
Amber, hazy, dense thin white head, reasonable lacing
Aroma of soap, spices, herbal, bit eggy and pooey, background of sweet malt, poor aroma
Taste - light pale fruity malts, vegetal herbal notes, some lemon, aromatic odd floral notes, it’s not working for me
Palate - light body, bit oily and creamy. Finish as main flavour, bit of lemon, very dry, light bitterish tail, too dry
Overall - Nope...awful smell.... Williams Froach is WAY WAY better than this......
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 omhper (17431) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2012
Cask at Bridge House, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Clear amber, small head. Distinct heather aroma. Mid dry with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Heather, grass and caramel. Low bitterness.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DruncanVeasey (6101) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2012
Cask handpull, The Larry (JDW), Nuneaton, 13/11/12. Clear bronze with a slim cream collar. Well-done meat free sausage aroma giving way to The Gents and Marstons. Taste; herbal, flowery, floured, biscuit sweetness aromatised with mineral salts and volcano gases. Odd, dull-English at once but drinkable. Although smells/tastes a bit like it’s been swilled in a well-used, just-air freshened urinal.
