Lighter on the palate than the aroma suggests. I suppose this would be expected from a 4.0% pale ale, perhaps I was expecting a little more.
Still, at a bargain price from B&M Bargains, a fine accompaniment to my curry!

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of grass, fruits and nuts. Flavor of hay, fruits, mild hops and pale malts. Boring.

Muddy yellow pour. White head laces the glass. Initial skunky aroma, was it stored correctly? Catch fresh bread and butter on the nose. Some citrus flavors but not much else. Medium body but think with a poor aftertaste that lingers.

bottle - clear gold with good white lasting head aroma is grassy grainy and light citrus . taste is sweetish floral light citrus and some modest hop bitterness coming through . quite watery unremarkable

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Team Valley, Gateshead. A golden beer with a citrus zesty flavour, malty notes and a bitter toffee finish.

Bottle pours a pale gold with a light head. The aroma is some citrus and floral notes. The taste is also of citrus and mild bitter with a bit of molasses, a pleasant combination.

Bottle at home in London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fairly rich, foamy white head. The nose offers some grainy, pale malts, light cereal, straw and hay. Light sweet flavor with some further cereal malts, light tangy hay, some faint cardboard, dust, lightly toasted straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp finish with some crackery pale malts, mellow bitter hay and faintly tangy citrus, mostly lemon. The beer comes across as a touch watery. It’s an elementary golden ale, but not generally offensive.

Bottle, from Sainsburys Lincoln. Gold, thin but lasting white head and good condition. Delicate aromas of sweet grain, melon and herbal hops in the nose, soft and fruity in the mouth with a developing herbal hop bitterness that becomes dominant in the finish

500ml bottle. Pours a greasy gold with a large head. Aroma is light citrus and buttered digestives. Taste has light citrus and straw. A little skunk in the aftertaste.

Average. No dominating flavours or anything of real note when drinking. It’s not unpleasant, it’s just not really ANYTHING.
