Cask conditioned Handpump Royal Blenheim Oxford. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. Yeast is present on the aroma as you’d expect from Wadworth. Pretty basic taste. Again house yeast. Quite boring and not showcasing Cascade hops, that’s for sure.

On cask at Cherry Tree, Steventon. A pale golden ale with a thin head. Very hoppy and a good one of its type. Summer refresh in early Autumn.

Cask. Clear apple juice body topped by soft white head. Aroma is orange, some dead leaf/earthy. Taste is medium sweet, earthy, some orange, light bread. Soft light-medium body, light resin.

[3152-20100723] Cask. Not much aroma, a little zesty grains. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Rough bitter bark flavour and orange skin zest. Medium body has a long bitter aftertaste. Nice and sessionable.

Straight from the cask at Arkell’s Brewery Beer Festival 2010. Fruity nose and golden coloured. Strong hoppy taste and a dry palate.

2010-07-23. Crisp golden yellow with a small foamy white head. 3+ Flavour is mild, sweet pale malt up front, light bitterness tat grows as you go. Hints of citrus have a profile not unlike the citrus in a white like a Sauvignon Blanc (sort of, but not exactly). 6+ Funny aroma, lemony, wheat like character, very light straw. 6+ Bitterness grows pleasantly, but the less pleasant grassy wheat character does as well, detracting from any gains. Average to light palate. Okay but not entirely to my tastes. Cask at Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2011 Golden blond colour. There’s a slightly sweet, citric edge to this beer but otherwise it’s rather bland, thin and watery.

Half pint, cask, well kept and served at Mr Foleys Cask Ale House in Leeds. Bright golden, almost no head, fragile lacing. Grassy hops to the nose. Taste of some herbal kind of hops with a rather sharp, but short lived, bitter finish. So and so, 11.07.2010.
