This used to be a regular cask conditioned tipple at Cropredy Music Festival each and every August which always felt strange as I always felt it was more of a winter beer. A dark brown beer that is both malty in aroma and taste, also very fruity and with a nice biotter finish used to get 4 pint jugs of this lay back listen to the music and slowly get merry.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A beer with a very fruity aroma and an amber color with a small lasting light brown head. The flavor is rather bitter with notes of oranges, peach, yeast and lots of aroma hops. It has a dry end.

Cask Conditioned, Falkland Arms, Great Tew. Dark copper brown in colour, this is a strong winter warmer with toffee and fruit flavours. Big roasted aftertaste like a roasted hazelnut.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This makes for a solid winter beer. With just enough alcohol. Creamy with notes of cream, vanilla, and toasted malt.
