Cask at The Nut Tree, Murcott, Oxon Dark golden beer with slight haziness and white head. This beer was sweet a bit tired and past its best to be fair still drinkable but will need to seek out again.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2006 Cask (handpump) at the Wig & Quill, Salisbury, Wiltshire. What Joeh said. Dry and thin. Needs more hops. Inoffensive but desperately short on flavour and character. Anodyne.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 21, 2006
Pint pulled at The Volunteer on Baker Street (London), a light golden colour with a bubbly white head. A strong musty citrus aroma. A musty bitterness on the palate, fruity (passionfuit and oranges) and sweet - refreshing.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Joeh (2038) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2006
<!-- i -->Cask at the Belle Vue (nice name), High Wycombe - a strange little pub quite near to the station with a few real ales including guests (like this). Boring golden ale, lacking in the body and flavour to make it anything other than an attempt to convert tasteless lager drinkers into tasteless ale drinkers. There is perhaps a touch of fruit in there and a light hop finish but not much else at all.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAY 1, 2006
Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, Borough, London .
Pale golden colour, minimal white head. Seriously abrasive, pungent, sulphurous aroma. I like that Scottish touch as much as anyone but this thing was a deadset egg.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ungstrup (26216) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2006
[Cask at GBBF 2005] A pale orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is quite light with notes of sulphur and fruity esters. The flavor is sweet malty combined with an OK hop presence, but leading to a dry metallic end. The metallic note is a drawback.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Mads Langtved (2246) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2005
Cask conditioned, GBBF 2005:
Bitter and slightly harsh. This beer is absolutely not in harmony. Too sticky and somewhat fishy.
