4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a very dark brown hazy beer with red fruit (plum) and milk chocolate flavours, sweetness and roasted notes on the finish. I couldn’t detect any real spicy warmth, but a very nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice rich flavoured beer. 6.1% first impressions you’d think it would strong to the taste and with the Chilli ay little over powering but on the contry i found this beer to be pleasently light on the strength but very heavy & full in flavour. I failed to notice the plum flavor to it however i did get the suttle kick of chilli at the end. Had it more than once as it was very welcoming. Drank this in The Wellington Birmingham.

Cask @ Gravity Station, Cardiff. Brownish indigo with only a small wispy ring of tan head. Chocolate and biscuit on the nose. Taste is intensely warming, sweet and packed with a chili hit. Not so much of the plum but I’m not complaining. Hot, sweet, malty aftertaste. I’m in love!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[cask at the Bow Bar, Edinburgh] Deep, dark, purplish red beer with a large, off-white head. Aroma is bittersweet, with some stone fruit and a whiff of the black pepper about it. On the taste, some slight flashes of sweet plums, damsons, or other similar fruits, before the chilli bitterness arrives on the finish. Not so much a chilli kick, more a slight prod with the boot. Still, it comes together quite well and is certainly interesting

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Dark brown colour with average to huge, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Fruity aroma, hints of plum, a touch of chili in the background. Taste is initially fruity, hints of plum, later dry dark malty, bitter hoppy, minimally soapy overtones, a peppery touch of chili in the background flashes up in the finish. Nice composition, could still tolerate more strength of the individual components (dark malt, fruit, chili) if proportionality is kept.
