3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jb (1806) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 12, 2006
Bold orange with white head that stay till the end of the glass. Pine, malt, hoppy aroma. Palate is bitter with lots of malt there along with a real lot of hops. Think grapefruit. Dry dry finish. I like my IPAs and I like this one they did it right.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Slipstream (1775) - USA - NOV 1, 2010
On tap at Tomatillo in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Pretty light and easy IPA. Not too exciting, but a good brew, and it was good company for my grilled shrimp burrito. I look forward to trying more from Wagner Valley - haven’t heard of them before.

On draft at the brewery. I don’t know if it’s because I’m drinking this so fresh at the source, but this is a very nice IPA. I’ll have to pick it up in a 6-pack and give it a try over time. But fresh this is a nice resiny, piney, citrusy IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 crazyvin (1690) - New York, USA - SEP 30, 2004
overall a good beer. A lot of hop notes in the aroma. The aroma smacked me in the face when i opened the bottle. Not much of a head over its amber body. Flavor was mainly malty ad hoppy.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 boto (1661) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - DEC 2, 2004
12oz bottle: This beer pours a crystal clear coppery amber color. It had a strong off-white head, that laces down the glass. The aroma is a nice hoppy grapefruit nose. The taste has a hint of sweetness in the background, with a strong grapefruit hop bite to the taste. A slight dryness to the finish. A very good beer!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Reid (1596) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - MAR 21, 2005
from a 12 oz longneck
Visually quite attractive, but not really what I expect from an IPA. Its a slighly murky, light brown colour with orangy tinges..small off white head, leaves nice lacing.
It has the usual IPA aromas, though a little subdiued also a slight honeyish scent.
Unusual taste, very sweet then a nice hop bitterness...though this seems to balance rather weell for an American IPa, remeinds me a bit of some of the British IPA/Golden ales.
Pretty darn nice on the tongue..smooth..long lasting after taste.
Quite a nice IPA, rather different than the usual PNW IPA, but If i had to compare it would be akin to Bridgeport IPA.
Thanks again to Jah Noth for this beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JMFG (1585) - Florida, USA - JUL 16, 2008
Dark straw color, thin white head. Weak hop aroma floats upon barely discernible malts. Tiny hop presence on the taste, slight citric finish. Pretty weak flavor and aroma even by pale ale standards.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fredandboboflo (1570) - East Setauket, New York, USA - MAR 1, 2009
Bottle. Aroma of rich, caramel malt, semi-resinous, citrusy/tropical hops. Flavor brings no surprises, though there seems to be a touch too much malt for the nice tropical fruit characteristics to shine through at all times. A bit muddy, including some astringency. Bitter finish that outlasts the astringency. Some positive aspects, some negative.

Tap NY, Draft. Hoppy decent aroma and flavor. Carmel undertones. Very drinkable.
