An unfiltered Bavarian-style wheat ale. The special Bavarian yeast used lends a distinct clove and banana aroma with just a touch of citrus bitterness on the palate. A very light summer beer with a very full mouth-feel. Available June-September

Nice wheat and spice aroma to the nose. The color is a light amber color with a nice foamy head. To taste you pick up bananas and cloves, lingers slightly on the palate

Location: 12 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/14/12

Aroma: The nose is nothing much, some lemon zest, a little least, and not too much else
Appearance: It pours a hazy goldenish color with a small head and minimal lace
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, a good amount of clove, and a light-medium bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an aliright feel, and a slightly dry, slightly spicy finish
Overall Impression: Overall, I was not overly impressed by this one. It was not a bad beer, but it just felt like a miss in quite a few different categories. I wouldn’t rush out for this one again.

Bottle. Nose strongly phenolic with medium wheat, still a little weak. Gradient golden pour and an ephemeral head (doesn’t last long at all). Medium-full body with great crispness, very faint clove with fainter rubber. A touch of slime, and very good carbonation. Just citrus and sweet malt. Refreshing, indeed, but not worth the Maisel’s glass it was poured into.

Aroma frontal citric wheat character , slight harshness , spice on side.
Appearance thickly hazed amber-gold. Initially good head that reduced quickly.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied, hint of cellar feel, hint of clove and spice at finish. Fairly close to classic sample.

Aroma is wheat, malt and some spice, hazy orange/apricot, pours a small white head. Flavour is fine wheat, some malt and a hint of corriander. Light bodied, very well balanced, fine spiciness, lovely mouthfeel. Terrific! Thank You Radek Kliber.

Bottle. Pours unclear gold with a white head. Spicy/clovey aroma with a light sweetness. The flavor has clove-like spices, a light banana sweetness and a wheaty base. Well balanced, easy drinking.

On draft at the brewery. Plenty of banana flavor up front. The aftertaste is a little cloying, but the initial flavors are very nice. The cloves are backround noice, and the banana is front and center. Light and easy to drink if you don’t pay too much attention to the finish.
