Bottle. Poured a clear, lightly effervescent golden orange colour with a fine, creamy, disappearing white head. Sweet toffee and orange aromas with some earthy, leafy hops and bready, not quite yeasty tones developing peppery hops as it warms. Orange and grassy on the tongue with caramel, bisuit and a bit of lemon. Finishes medium dry with a crisp, mid-length finish. Light to medium in body with medium carbonation.

Bottle from kris wines. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, but also bluebeerry and pale malts. Taste is similar, the bluebeerry seems to stem from the yeast which is almost plasticy, but the fruity character helps it. Another from these chaps id love to try on cask.

Bottle.Distinctive label and that makes it stand out on the shelf. Golden and clear with a gentle bitterness. Hops are present as well and the overall pleasant mouth feel lingers for some time.Drinking this was a nice experience.

A Mes rate: bottle from Kris Wines.
Very gold with some rising carbonation and a decent white head, rather attractive actually. Semi sweet aroma with plenty of fruit and a little marzipan. Slight sweaty socks note lets it down a bit. The flavour is a bit more like. Good citric hoppage on top of an excellent bready malt base. Restrained but very pleasant bitter finish that has a lingering salty lemon character that is most unusual but somehow works. Not the best Wagtail but still a decent beer.
