thebeertourist (1879), Oslo, Norway Sep 8, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden with a big, rocky white head. Grassy and flowery hop nose. Good bitterness balancing the sweet malts. relatively light-bodied. Drinkable session beer. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Sep 7, 2008 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 6 Sep 2008) Golden colour with foamy, lasting, white head. Fruity, floral nose with fresh notes of citrus and flowers, hints of yeast and spices. Very fresh aromas. Fruity taste with orange, lemon and floral, spicy hops in the finish. Solid malt foundation. Rather dry. Spicy and fresh. Very nice. Magic_dave6 (3975), London, Greater London, England Sep 3, 2008 Bottle from kris wines. Aroma is floural and citrus, very hoppy, however a plasticy dusty note off the yeast distors it. Taste basically exactly the same. Id really like to try it on cask, however once again we have an excellent beer which has been bastardised by bottle conditioning. johndoughty (1660), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Aug 25, 2008 Bottle. Lovely warm aroma upon opening inviting you to drink it. Creamy
bitterness mixed with citrus and hops.Very refreshing, distinctive and all round pleasant. Recommended. wyzzywyz22 (387), Wirral, Merseyside, England Aug 12, 2008 Bottle, Carringtons,Chorlton. Poured a pale golden colour with a thin white head. Fragrant hop aroma with some fruit and spice in the mix. Flavour peppery and spicy with a healthy dash of hop and citrus. Quite different, and it works. Finish was as dry as King Tut’s flip flop. In the immortal words of Larry David ’ Preeettyyyy Good !!! ’
