750ml bottle from Londis Westholme stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon 03-05-08 Light-mid golden in colour with white head. Some pepperyness, galangal and light spiciness in the mouth, and spicey hops and woodiness on the nose. Finishes quite dry and with a nice flurry of bitterness, very good yet again from Wagtail.

Bottle. Golden with a small white head. Aromas are biscuit malts with spices and citrus. Flavours are sweet biscuit malts with bitter lemon. Dry on the finish. Decent.

A Mes rate: Bottle from Kris Wines.
You know what? Wagtail are bloody good. This is excellent stuff. Beautifully floral and aromatic. Big fruity aroma with a solid pale malt base. Clean pale gold colour with an impressive head. Glorious flavour of lemony hops with a sprinkling of sherbert, Wonderfully dry and drinkable. Excellent bitterness in the finish. Very good stuff indeed.

Bottle. Pale and yellowy with a fine white head. Delicately spiced aroma of coriander seed, cumin, citrussy/celery-like hops, buttery pale malt, ganja. Flavour light and faintly orange-accented, and completely dominated by a ridiculous long retronasal waft of buttery cornflake, wheat and biscuit. But I enjoyed it.
