Appearance: Cloudy golden color with a fine white head that. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, banana and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Balanced and mild wheat, banana and fruity notes.
Overall impression: Nice. A huge surprise. Far better than expected after reading some ratings.

On tap at Amundsen. It poured a hazy pale yellow liquid with a white head. Mild smell, light hints of wheat. Very mild taste as well, fresh though. It lacks the typical wheat beer aromas, way to mild.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2012 Fra fat på Biskopen i Bergen: behagelig aroma av banan og litt krydderier. Kryddersmaken mer framtredende i smaken. Behagelig munnfylde og ettersmak uten å imponere, men allikevel bedre enn slik jeg husker den første gang jeg prøvde den for et par år siden.

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Light haze on this pale gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Sweet tripel like malts with a little bubblegum. Carbonated sting in the finish. Alright, goes down easy.

On tap at Amundsen 14.10.11. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head.. Aroma is orange, wheat, malt, citrus. Flavour is orange, wheat, malt, hop, citrus. Medium body. OK beer.

On tap at Kalfaret. Looks very hazy with a light orange colour. A small off-white head. Has the classic hefeweizen aromas of fruity yeast and banana and some spices and grains. I find much of the same in the flavours but only for a second, and the beer lacks some aftertaste. Feels a bit watery and thin. A decent weizen that looks and smells good, but disappoints after short time in the mouth.

Draught. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Some yeasty notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

On tap at Øl- og matfestivalen 2010 (08-19-2010). Hazy yellow with a small white head. Just a little bit banana, but mostly pretty tasteless. Pretty far from a real German Hefeweizen in my opinion.
