500 ml bottle. Appearance is pale, straw coloured, with a white frothy head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is very hoppy and fresh (in fact both on the bottle and on the brewery website they stress the use of fresh hops), grassy and slightly citrusy. Light body with good carbonation. Taste is grainy and sweetish in the beginning, then hoppy and fresh (again), especially in the finish, somewhat reminiscent of a very light IPA. Thumbs up!

Heerlijke pilsener. Mooie gouden kleur met een kleine schuimkraag. Lekker fris, mooie tonen van graan met een heerlijke zachte nasmaak.

Pours clear gold with a small white head. Heavy grainy, corn aroma and a bit dusty. Flavor is quite the same, grainy, corn. Not to much to say.

It is not a bad pils but I think that some bavarian pils are better. The carbonation is medium-weak. The thing is that the taste in mouth doesn’t stay a long time, if I compare with a augustiner pils. The hop and some herbs are present.

Tap. Clear golden with small white head. Sweet grains, light toffee and a bit of sugar. Light dried apple. Medium spices. Taste is medium sweet with light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not bad, but slightly too sweet for me.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl à la maison. Couleur blonde, effervescence forte et mousse moyenne. En bouche attaque maltée assez puissante puis petite fraicheur sur le houblon avec une pointe de réglisse et de pin. Agréable.

Pleasant light ger pils. Malty with nice bitter finish. crisp. Light body. Verrry pale yellow almost white. Nice lacing. Nothing extraordinary but a nice ger pils.

Definitely one of the best southern German pils. I was especially intrigued by the full body of the beer. This might be linked to the soft water from the black forest.
