COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

draught@Erzbierschof - pours a dark brown beer under a long lasting beige foam; nice lacework; toasted biscuity maltiness, hints of spices and ripe fruits; quite full-bodied, pretty tart and with some sweetness below; fizzy, highly carbonated; aftertaste of cookies and corn - very decent

Big thanks to kevnic2008 for that beer. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts intense malty, not too yeasty, fine sourish background with interesting fruity-berry notes, hints of raisins and some liquorice. Well balanced finish and very drinkable. Really nice!

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Murky reddish brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet wheat, mild raisins, toasted malts, coffee and some mild yeasty notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance along with chocolate. Rather bodied and quite toasted for a Dunkelweizen.

Mild hefiger Start, geringe Malzigkeit. Das Bier wird nur wenig würziger und bleibt somit schwach. Zum Ende bitterer werdend, mild hefig. Naja... 9/7/8/7/7/6

Bottle from Berlin: Hazy brown with a huge off white head. Straw and grassy hop aroma, along with caramel and mild fruity wheat. Quite bitter for a weissen, light caramel sweet but overall pretty tasteless for a dunkel weizen.

Bottle in Donostia. Nice and subtle. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, and milk. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is almost creamy. Dark brown.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy brown colour, large and creammy off-white head. Whetay, slightly yeasty with some caramel and a touch of fruit. Hints of bitter chocolate. Good.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy amber color. Sweetish dark bread aroma with . The flavor is balanced with sweet bread and some pepper and clove. Some raisiny and nutty notes. Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Hint of yeasty sourness in finish. Drinkable and tasty, restrained spiciness combines well with bready maltiness.
