COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Mild hefiger Start, geringe Malzigkeit. Naja... 9/7/8/7/7/6

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Murky reddish brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet wheat, mild raisins, toasted malts, coffee and some mild yeasty notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance along with chocolate. Rather bodied and quite toasted for a Dunkelweizen.

Bottle from Berlin: Hazy brown with a huge off white head. Straw and grassy hop aroma, along with caramel and mild fruity wheat. Quite bitter for a weissen, light caramel sweet but overall pretty tasteless for a dunkel weizen.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy amber color. Sweetish dark bread aroma with . The flavor is balanced with sweet bread and some pepper and clove. Some raisiny and nutty notes. Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Hint of yeasty sourness in finish. Drinkable and tasty, restrained spiciness combines well with bready maltiness.
