500ml bottle. Hazy pale golden colour with huge, firm, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet wheat malty, minimally yeasty, hints of citrus; creamy palate.

50cl bottles, local Edeka - By the label it seems they are rather pleased to as a SW brewery carry the Weihenstephan Quality Standard" - as they habe forgotten to include any other tasting notes or the like...
Pretty clear looking Weisse, by Waldhaus’ cloudy Pils/Keller standards. Nice fresh fruity nose, typical pleasant almond-dry palate, taste is pure quality hefe and hops resulting in a gorgeous mixed fresh fruit basket (apple, berries, pale nuts), with the ripe banana for once not playing first violin (picture that trainwreck of a metaphor and try not to land at Peanut Butter Jelly Time).
Very pleasant surprise from a quality local brewery whose output is so consistently dry that it is hard to not drink their beers just for taste.

Ein sehr helles, nur leicht trübes Weizen mit sehr feinem, cremigem Schaum, sieht einfach toll aus! Das Aroma ist primär säuerlich, einem Champus ähnlich, dazwischen auch fruchtige Anklänge von Birne und Banane. Der Antrunk ist dann spritzig und leicht, geradezu erfrischend. Geschmacklich ist die Hefe nicht so prägnant wie im Aroma, sondern wunderbar mild und geschmeidig. Äußerst liquider Körper, wird erst im Abgang minimal würziger. Eine Schwarzwald Weisse ausm Bilderbuch! Eine Kiste davon ist fällig!

(Flasche) Es hat eine zironengelbe Farbe, ist fast milchig trüb mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma hat etwas von feucht gelagertem Getreide, etwas zitroniges und getreidiges. Der Geschmack ist wässrig, mit einer leichten fast sirupartigen Süße, sonst wie das Aroma. Es ist spritzig erfrischend aber nicht bitter.

Hefiger Beginn, kurz muffig, dann bananiger und frischer. Geringe Herbe, süffig. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier langweiliger, deutlich milder, die Hefigkeit wird banaler. Nettes Weizen. 10/10/11/11/9/11

Das Bier im Glas kommt sehr trüb daher. Farblich zitronen-ananas gelb, mit einer guten stabilen feinen Schaumkrone. Der Geruch ist säuerlich hefig. Der Antrunk erfolgt sehr sehr fruchtig, leicht süß und eine angenehme Säuerlichkeit leitet den Abgang ein, welcher mittellange nachhallt. Dieses Weizen schmeckt eigentlich kaum nach Hefe, es kommen nur säuerliche Fruchtaromen durch. Feines Weizen insgesamt, aber ein bissl mehr Hefe hätte nicht geschadet…

500 ml Bottle. Appearance is cloudy, orangish-yellow color with billowy off-white head. Aroma is citrus, sweet malts, floral. Taste is similar with flavors of citrus, some banana, spice, floral hops. Palate is medium-bodied, thin texture, foamy carbonation, dry finish. Decent Weizen from an amazing brewer.
