Das Waldhaus Spezial Bier entpuppt sich als Export der Extra-Klasse: Schön malzig mit herberen Noten im Abgang, dabei sehr vollmundig und rund. Eine stimmige Angelegenheit dieses Spezial!

The head s medium, the body light. The taste is soft, malty, watery, mild. Overall in my opinion to mild. 8/7/7/7/8/7

(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of herbal hops and light butter, slightly earthy, with notes of grain, sugar syrup and toffee. flavour is mostly the same, very sweet and slightly metallic, with notes of earth and rotten peaches. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Pour is clear, clear gold, fizzy white head that doesnt last. Nose is nice sweet grassy malt. More soft sweetness in the flavour. Mouthfeel is soft, low carbonation, a refreshing change from fizzy yellow pale lager. Short finish.

(Flasche) Es hat eine sehr helle, sonnengelbe Farbe, ist blank filtriert mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist getreidig-süßlich mit würzigem Hopfen. Der Geschmack ist genau so. Bittere ist kaum vorhanden und die Karbonisierung passt. Zusammengefasst, nicht erinnerungswürdig.

Clear amber-goden colour, large and creamy white head. Malty, caramel, hints of walnut, shy resiny-herbal hoppy touch in the finish. O.K.

500ml Bottle. Appearance is clear, yellow color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is malty, herbal hops, and a nice floral smell. Taste is similar with heavy doughy or cereal flavors, strong pale malts, floral and herbal hops but only a mild bitterness. Palate is medium-bodied, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, and a sweet finish. Wonderful beer.

Verhalten hopfiger Geruch mit gering aromatischen Zügen. Antrunk hopfig-süßlich. Mitte moderat bitter mit ewtas Metallgeschmack. Im Schluß dann feinherb. Insgesamt ein etwas flaches Bier. Trinkbar jedoch allemal.Test vom 6.2.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle 50cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is on grasy hops and vegetables. Aroma is dry, on dusty malt, with hops bitterness and a spicy hops finish, nothing exceptional, a basic lager.
