YES !

Pours out of the bottle (with many thanks to Mariusz!) in a clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of hops and straw. Taste of hops, straw, mild fruits, hay, flowers and grains. Mild-flowery-hoppy finish. Nice one.

heavy (2116) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 1, 2014
8/11 0.5 l bottle. It pours clear golden body with almost no head again. Aroma is dominated by flowery and honey malts, some dust and a little bit of grain. Flavor is lightly bitter, herbal and cardboard hoppy, dusty, with slightly less pronounced malt sweetness beyond. Medium bodied with shorter, watery and only a bit bitterish paper finish rounds it as a quite boring pils-ish helles, but definitely not bad either.

Aroma: yeast, dough, resin; Appearance: clear urine, small foamy head; Taste: medium bitterness, slight sweetness; Palate: bitter finish, slick texture, soft carbonation A well-rounded helles, could be sessioned but care is still advised due to well hidden alcohol.

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma with faint grassy hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, faint bread and light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, faint bread and faint hoppyness. Could use more bitterness. Not really so "Spezial".

50cl bottles, on and off from local Edeka over 2yr period. The 4th Waldhaus choice, when their Ohne Filter series or Diplom Pils is out. The maltier, sweeter, harder-to-rave about Waldhaus Pils, with the trademark rich and dry yeast profile and natural hops, although this time sadly cushioned by all too rich malts, making it less special than their Diplom Pils or Ohne Filter extra herb. Worth sampling in series to explore Waldhaus 100% natural hop range and very characteristic yeast profile.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of heavy, shared with him and Marko. Yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head, pretty dry grainy nose. Dry grainy, slight cardboard and herbs with dusty grainy finish. Pretty average and boring.

Shiny yellow-golden body with a medium sized white head. Grainy, eggy aroma. Grainy, eggy taste, typically German, full. Something else but it’s illegible. Oh well.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Clear golden, mid sized. Mildly fruity nose with some grass and white pepper. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm with some honey and grain. Light salty bitterness. Firm and harmonious.
