fonefan (4468), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, bread, meat, light alcoholic. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metallic ala salami in a picnic box. (140308) MiP (5021), Flensburg, Germany Jan 14, 2008 Bottle, 7.0%. Dusty aroma, bread, sweet malt. Clear dark orange colour, quite pale for a Doppelbock. Very small tan head. Bready flavour, slightly sweet but balanced OK by the alcohol. Malty enough, but not spectacular. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Fat, malty and caramelish.
