Bottle from beerboxer. Has a amber color with off white head. First taste is hoppy then goes into a weird nasty funky after taste. Wont probably drink again

StormCoat (103) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 16, 2012
Tried a 12oz bottle. Pours a light, hazy copper-amber color with little head. Aroma is mild, sweet, and malty...maybe even a tiny bit chocolatey. Flavors are not very exciting: somewhat sweet, with a slight nuttiness, and an overriding diet cola taste that I find kind of unpleasant. Body is fairly thin. Overall, this is disappointing.

bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured yellow with a white head that laced the glass. aroma and flavor were malt and citrus with a light body and medium-high carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2011 Picked up a sixer at a local grocery store because it was only 4.99. Pours a new copper penny color with a small head that quickly disappears. The aroma is sweetened barley malts. The taste is similar to the aroma with a trace of mild hops added for effect. The palate is medium and the carbonation is prickly. Finishes short with an aftertaste of cooked vegetables and saccharine. Overall: A crappy pale ale.

Pours clear reddish gold with a thick white head and a fruity aroma. There is a decent caramel malt flavor with some hop bitterness. An average brew.

bhensonb (8981) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Pours a very light amber with an off-white head. Something of a cooked malt aroma. Med. body; frothy carbonation. The flavor is the slightly roasted malt and supporting hop typical for the style. It’s actually quite malty and rather bitter. Aroma is just a bit weird though. Sometimes like celery.
