UPDATED: MAR 20, 2007 341 mL bottle: This beer (even for a pale lager or pilsner) speaks QUALITY!! High quality hops & malts in here for sure. Great tasting refreshing beer. I dare anyone to say this beer is not smooth, very smooth. Nice golden colour with short white head. Sweet aroma and taste. Great balance between malts and hops. Medium to light body. Reminds me of Mill St. Stock ale to be honest, although these beers are different in style. Like Headstrong lager has a nice wet finish. It’s really hard to find anything bad about this beer. Drink it cold, as it warms it might become a little too thin for some. Walkerville is cranking out some superior micro brew stuff for Ontario (i.e fresh taste, big flavour).

341 ml bottle: A very smooth and refreshing beer. No wonder Walkerville has received such accolades in the Ontario Craft Brew Community. Pours deep and golden in colour with little head. A sweet malty aroma invites the drinker to enjoy a sip. Feels very wet in the mouth, some sweetness, and virtually no aftertaste. Simply delicious. This beer almost has a Pilsner feel to it without the bitterness. Comparable to a Mill Street Stock Ale but smoother and better.

As said previously, pale yellow, frothy, finishes with a hop flavour, goes great with fish.

SLight musky aroma similar to european blonds. Pale golden colour, subdued carbonation, very smooth, slightly sweet. Very good beer, I was pleasantly surpirsed, will try their other offerings.

341 mL bottle. Slightly translucent and pale gold with minimal head. Mild aroma; sweet malt, maybe a little grainy. Very smooth, nicely carbonated. Not a lot to it, in terms of taste; malt, just a little hop flavour near the end. A little sweet. Not much finish. Not bad, for an Ontario pilsener. Great summer beer.

I assume that this is the same as the Premium Blonde. Color; well it is called blond. Fruity, faint hop aroma. Nice smooth, fruity burnt hop tastes, semi sweet palate. Nice surprise from this brewery.

I assume this beer is the the "Premium Blonde". Pours thin and golden with just a tad of yeast floaties. Tiny head fizzles fast. Aroma is grassy but there is some obvious bitterness ... also a touch of apricot. Very thin mouth feel ... similar to an American Standard. Some background hop zing that lends yeast and hop complexity. This is not a stellar brew, however, if I was dehydrating in the desert I would request a 100 ice-cold bottles of this beer. A good grass-mowing brew.

Slightly hazy blonde coloured body with a frothy white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of fresh lemon, wheat, coriander seed and curacao - really nice (and smells just like a wit). Light-bodied; Pale taste with the lemon coming out well. Short lasting flavour but nothing unpleasant at all. Aftertaste shows some wheat and coriander seed - but once again, not much else. Overall, a decent beer - not bad at all and I could imagine this one being really nice to have in summer up North. I sampled this 33cL bottle purchased from Merchant’s Fine Wines in Dearborn, Michigan on 21-May-2005 in the Motor City.
