On tap. sharp citrusy nose-hair curling aroma. a slight toasted honeyfar back. good feel int he mouth, a quick wrming int he back of my throat, some internal aroma. Flavor has a frothy bitterness above, a thick citrusy bitter bellow & a thin bubbly almost sweet in the middle. "meaty" with hops

On tap at Rose & Raindrop, Portland. Chestnut colour with disappearing beige head. Wonderfully balanced malt, strong grapefruit hop aroma. Lovely juicy malt in mouth and then huge IPA hops kick in

GABF 2006. Bronze body. Nose is rich citrusy hops, chewy malts, and a touch of pine. Aroma is mouthwatering! Taste is more citrus fruits, rich hops, chewy malts, caramel, and maple notes. Body is medium-full and has a creamy carbonation feel. Finishes with more creamy maltiness, citrus, light pine, and caramel. Pretty nice IIPA!

Translucent coppery color...smallish creamy whitish head. Nice citrus hop aroma...sweetish. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied with more citrusy hops, syrupy maltiness also. Big lingering bitterness throughout. Tasty.

Copper color full fluffy white head nice lace. Light aroma smooth blend of carmels and citrus malts. Avg pal some light oils. Flavor is much richer more carmels than the ipa over a dry piney finish w/ some grapefruit notes. a decent iiipa but still lacking.

Draught at the Parkway Tavern Day of IPAs. Pours a hazy orange amber with a lacy, creamy white head. medium body. Aroma of fruit and toffee. Starts malty sweet and goes to a bitter finish. Re-sampled at The Tap House. Not a bad beer, butg there are better examples of the style out there.

On tap. Poured a orangish color with white head. Nice hoppy aroma with decent malty background. It had a good hop finish to it, and was not harsh and was balanced which is what I prefer in an Imperial IPA.
