Grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Lightly syrupy with loads of hops - grapefruit and licorice. Extremely bitter finish. Powerful, but doesn’t really do it for me. glkaiser (1164), Seattle, Washington, USA

Not over the top, just perfectly balanced and rich and hoppy, with a great rounded out malt backbone. It could be a bit bigger but I do like it just the way it is. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Lightly hazy, deep golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to ring with some lace. Alcohol is up front. Orange-citrus-grapefruit, resinous, pinelike hop flavour with very assertive, rough bitterness. Dry, medium-full body with lively carbonation that is aggressive on the tongue. Doesn’t really seem like there is enough malt character to support the high hopping rate in this one. Sampled at GABF 2005. CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA

It reminds me of their IPA in taste. Finishes bitter then backs off to a sweetness making you want to take another sip to see if the end result is the same. Worth a try, if it it is just a sampler.
