Draught at Rose and Raindrop, Portland. Clear copper, creamy head. Grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Lightly syrupy with loads of hops - grapefruit and licorice. Extremely bitter finish. Powerful, but doesn’t really do it for me.

Tried the "Big Phat Homo" at the Strange Brewfest. Good head, pretty hoppy and quite strong. Tasty.

(Draught, Horse Brass Pub) Pours a lightly cloudy copper body with a small off-white head. Aroma of fresh citrus and florals. Flavor of hops, caramel, and malt.

This is what it is all about right here. Another one I could drink all day. Not over the top, just perfectly balanced and rich and hoppy, with a great rounded out malt backbone. It could be a bit bigger but I do like it just the way it is.

Orange-grapefruit, herbal hops greet the nose. Lightly hazy, deep golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to ring with some lace. Alcohol is up front. Orange-citrus-grapefruit, resinous, pinelike hop flavour with very assertive, rough bitterness. Dry, medium-full body with lively carbonation that is aggressive on the tongue. Doesn’t really seem like there is enough malt character to support the high hopping rate in this one. Sampled at GABF 2005.

Deep golden in color. Had on tap. It has a citrusy sense that begs you to try this one. It reminds me of their IPA in taste. Finishes bitter then backs off to a sweetness making you want to take another sip to see if the end result is the same. Worth a try, if it it is just a sampler.

Sampled @ GABF- Pours a golden amber color, small white head. Aroma is pine needles and fresh hops. Flavor is more pine, grapefruit, walnut, not much malt backing up the hops.

GABF 2005: poured deep yellow with a light brown head. Hoppy aroma with floral notes. Flavor is mostly hops and little malt sweetness. Bitter finish. Decent beer.
