Draught at Rose and Raindrop, Portland. Clear copper, creamy head. Grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Lightly syrupy with loads of hops - grapefruit and licorice. Extremely bitter finish. Powerful, but doesn’t really do it for me.

First rated at Rose & Raindrop in winter ’06 for a 3.3 overall score. Re-rate at the brewpub in Stevenson summer ’07. Brigth deep amber. Aroma is actually somewhat scant...vague hints of chewy malts and citrusy hops. Not as clearly defined as with some of their other brews. Rich malts on the palate are just the happy side of cloying, and there’s plenty of resiny hop. Compared with other WM brews, this plodsd along, bludgeoning your palate without nuance.

On tap at Rose & Raindrop, Portland. Chestnut colour with disappearing beige head. Wonderfully balanced malt, strong grapefruit hop aroma. Lovely juicy malt in mouth and then huge IPA hops kick in

Hazy orange, mostly diminishing off-white head. High pitched floral nose, brightly limey, expressive and voraciously candyish in its maltiness displays great character. Sweet experience that borders unknown territory. A dash of medicinal earthiness evolves into citrus land while miraculously avoiding any astringency. Original flavours, complexity and fitting alcohol presence make this a particularly successful I2PA.

Mason Jar acquired in trade with riversideAK (from the Uber Tavern). Thanks! Poured a deeper and slightly hazy amber color wtih a larger sized off white head. Aromas of fresh floral hops, earthy, and pine. Tastes of the same floralness, toasted caramel, pine, and some citrus. Alcohol content well hidden. Some lacing left on the glass.

(Draught, Horse Brass Pub) Pours a lightly cloudy copper body with a small off-white head. Aroma of fresh citrus and florals. Flavor of hops, caramel, and malt.
