shadey (1343), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 16, 2008 On tap at Big River Grill in Stevenson WA. Walking Man was closed till 4pm so we had to go elsewhere for lunch. Luckily, Big River had Walking Man beers on tap. This must have been incredibly fresh. The hops were so vibrant and aromatic it was incredible. Resiny and biting, it was flavorful and full in mouthfeel. Really a fantastic IPA. Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Aug 28, 2008 7/19/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is caramel citrus integrated into one continuous smell. Appearance is very slightly hazy orange with a moderate maintained white head. Flavor is sweet with a light earthy flavor, some spiciness, and very well balanced. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly starchy, with moderate carb texture. Overall, quite cool with good sweetness. Aroma is pretty floral with some sweetish notes of caramel and pale malts. Upfront maltiness followed by nice floral and light citrus hops. Becomes pretty fruity with the nice balance and pleasant sweetness. Lingering and lasting floral hops on the palate. A nice IPA.
