Sep 20, 2006 Rating #300!!!....only right that it should be a Walking Man, probably my favorite WA brewpub! On tap at Brouwer’s. Almost clear dark red. Amazing aroma and taste. Banana, roasted malts and mild dark fruit. Good thickness. I will be making sure to visit this brewpub in the next month.

Jul 6, 2006 On Tap at the brewpub. Deep redish brown with little to no head and only slight wispy lacing. Aroma was a wonderfull medley of mulled spices, raisons, brown sugar and toasted malts. Flavor was equally coplex and interesting with a pronounced german weizen yeast note in the mix. Softly carbonated but a very fine and slick feel. Hides the ABV quite well though there is a slight late burn. Most interestingbeer ive had in a long time.

May 2, 2006 Dark mahogany with a small head and lace. Mint and spruce, maybe all spice. Some spices in the flavor with some malts and a little bit of bittering hops. Finishes spicy with a thick mouthfeel.

does not count  Apr 19, 2006 On tap at Walking Man brewpub. A big beer with flavors of banana, clove, plum and raisen. Thick mouthfeel hides the high alcohol content. My favorite WM beer.

Mar 8, 2006 These guys are good. There is no way to tell that this beer is as strong as it is.
Rich head with tight small bubbles. Deep garnet colored. Aroma is amazing!!! Rich clove, ripe banana, caramel, slight dark fruit (plum). The aroma stays for the entire show. Flavor delivers all of the above in order. Then the alcohol comes. Just enough to clear my palate and make me take another drink. Only thing that got me, was it tasted a little heavy.

Jan 10, 2006 Medicinal bad-aid aroma mixed with cloves, musky leather wet cardboard and some sweet fruits, one of the most complex aromas I have ever had in a beer. Lighter on the palate with a disappointing mouthfeel and flavors. Very easy to drink though and tasty , just lighter than I was expecting.

Jan 8, 2006 (Draught, Horse Brass Pub) Pours a deep mahogany with a moderate off-wite head. Aroma of banana, caramel, cloves, and dark fruits. Flavor of wheat, candy sugar, toastiness, and toffee.

Dec 13, 2005 On tap at concordia tap house. Pours very dark brown with a tall off-white head. Big ol banana/clove spicy nose. Flavor is a great blend of sweet fruits, caramel, chocolate, and spicy finish. Delicious beer that was very similar to adventinus. Walking man really makes some of the best beers in the NW, this is another example of incredible beers coming out of that brewery.
