2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark chestnut colour. Assloads of pine and spices (nutmeg, cardamom). Flavour has a bit of pine, light caramel and a shitload of spices. Rather one-dimensional that way.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was kind of unbalanced, and my first realy disappointment at this brewery. I think they are just working the kinds out of the recipe. Heavy cardamon spiciness with hints of corriander, ginger and cinnamon, almost as if someone stuck a cinnamon stick in the beer. Sweet and fruity, and some biscuity malts in the background, but otherwise kind of boring and not very easy to drink.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Draught at Concordia, Portland. Nut brown, clear. Heavily spicy aroma - cardamom and coriander sticks out. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. The spices dominate completely. So much spices there is no room for anything else, and it gets completely one dimensional.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at brewery. Ultra-deep mahogany color with the barest hints of red/ruby showing through when backlit. Modest off-white hted which leaves fair lacing behind. Lots of coriander in aroma, little bits of citrus. Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Sleasantly sweet, estery fruits. Lots of spice presence. Brewery says cardamom present also. Well done.
