brokensail (11613) - Orange County, California, USA - FEB 16, 2012
The beer is a cloudy pink-tinted orange color with white foam. The nose has nice blackberry aromas as well as a slight acetic note of raspberry. Tartness of lemon zest and a light grass note. The flavor is lightly sweet with lots of berry flavors and a moderate tartness from the berries and also a bit of lemon. Maybe some straw and grass, too.

12oz Bottle. Thanks for sharing Sean! Minty, herbal aroma. Very foamy fresh light fruit aroma. Very light on the funk and sourness. Some slight tangy olive flavors. Not a big pile of fruit or funk. Woody.

Cavie (3844) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - SEP 8, 2011
Bottle courtesy thirdeye11. Pours a slightly orangish-red color with some suspended sediment in this beer. Foamy white head. Aroma is very nice. Lots of fresh berries, some light tart notes. Nice smell. Flavor is bitter, light fruit. Bit of tartness. Smell was way better than the flavor.

Fratto (2655) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Bottle from thirdeye11. Muddy red-brown pour with an off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, great raspberry, maybe some citrus, and very tart. Taste is not as wonderful, a little sour, mixed berries, fizzy, vanilla, and yeast twang.

Bottled sampled during OBW. Pours hazy amber with a thick, fluffy beige head. Funky brett nose with berries and sourness. Sour berry flavor with some funky brett before a bitter and sour berry finish.

Sample from a bottle at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. Pours a hazy reddish-brown color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Berries and malt in the nose. Medium body with a tart fruity character and notes of sweet malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a raspberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
