Rogueone (311), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 19, 2008 Sample @ WBE: Aroma is very earthy, with pine and some spiced citrus. Medium to high bitterness with a malt that lingers on the tongue. BBB63 (3681), La Porte, Indiana, USA Feb 24, 2008 2008 MBG Winter Fest: Deep golden hue topped by a lasting frothy head and good lace. The aroma is big citric and resiny hops, herbal and spicy too. Some vapours of biscuity pale malt and a hint of DMS (corny) aroma noted as well. The taste is bitter and a tad fruity over a layer of pale and sweet malt, not too badly balanced. A hint of hop spice and metallic character on the finish. The mouth feel is sprite and aggressive, sharp astingent tone on the finish. All in all a solid brew, a happy surprise on the palate. KC8LTL (2), Traverse City, Michigan, USA does not count Oct 12, 2007 From Growler from Brewpub. This beer is all about the hops. You can smell it across a room. It quite effectively masks the alcohol until you notice a bit of warming at the end. If you are careful, you notice a bit of a bready malt background.
Hopheads rejoice!
