Draught at the bräuhaus
Cloudy light amber color; generous head. The aroma is spicy, with light fruits (citrus fruits and banana). The flavor is quite mellow, with wheat character, but without the spicy profile; there is some banana; and the bitterness is very subdued; this combination creates also a light soapy touch. Simple.

Hazy medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, banana, bubble gum. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, acrid fruity - banana. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100928]

I’m sorry, but I have to give this one a perfect score. Maybe it wa sjust super fresh when I visited, but I found this to be a super example of a true hefeweizen. Very bavarian in nature.

Draught at the brewpub. According to their beer calendar this is their seasonal brew in June and Juli. I had it in January! Don’t know if the beer I got was very old or very young. Hazy golden coloured. Very fruity aroma and flavour, mainly bananas. Quite sweet. Notes of yeast.
