Walnut Brewery Oak-Aged Maple Brown

Draught. Head is mostly lasting. Body is medium to dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie, toasted bread), lightly hoppy (apricot), with light notes of raisin and vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Aroma and appearance got me to thinking this might be a tasty brew, but it’s about as thin and bland in the mouth as any other Walnut brewski. Not to bad, though.
